Darco was honored to host Pamela Hunter, Assemblymember for the 128th District of the NYS Assembly. Ms. Hunter took time out of her schedule to tour Darco and see what CNC machining is all about. She observed various jobs in progress and spent time talking with our employees to find out who we are, what we do and how we do it.

Hats off to our summer interns!

August 2016
Darco gave five college students a leg up on their summer employment options. It was a good introduction to the world of manufacturing and CNC machining in particular. An added benefit, noted one student, was that the job gave her greater confidence to ask questions and learn new things. We enjoyed their energy, enthusiasm and sparkle and we wish them the best as they continue their studies. Good luck Mamta, Jessica, Graham, Mark and Pat!

Believe in Syracuse Progress Gala, Hotel Syracuse

July 22, 2016
John DeSantis, founder and Executive Director of Believe in Syracuse, says his mission is to promote positive perceptions and improve the quality of life in Greater Syracuse by converting local pride into meaningful action. If turnout at the gala event was any indication, he has a lot of loyal supporters. Over 250 decked-out guests gathered in the Grand Ballroom for dinner, music and comments by hotel owner/renovator Ed Riley and keynote speaker Sean Kirst. Many guests reminisced about their favorite hotel events over the years. It was a great evening and a testament to the momentum for John’s mission.
